Frequently asked questions
How tight should cuffs be?
You should be able to slide one finger between the cuff and your skin. Check hands and feet regularly for colour and feeling.
Are suspension cuffs safe to take body weight?
Only suspension-rated cuffs should take weight, and suspension should be done by experienced people with spotters and safety shears. Standard cuffs are for restraint, not hanging.
Are the cuffs padded?
Most of our cuffs and mittens have a soft lining to reduce pressure during longer scenes. See the product details above.
Can I connect the cuffs together?
Yes. The D-rings work with clips, chains, hogtie connectors and spreader bars.

Caring for your leather
- Clean: wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use. For deeper cleaning use a little mild, pH-neutral soap, then wipe off.
- Dry: let it air dry at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer, radiator or direct sunlight.
- Condition: apply a leather conditioner every 2–3 months, or when the leather feels dry, to keep it supple.
- Hardware: wipe buckles and D-rings dry after cleaning.
- Store: in a cool, dry place in a breathable cotton bag, not plastic. Hang garments on a wide hanger.
- Do not machine wash, soak or dry clean.
